DWA-Competency Course

Nachricht vom 01/30/2009

Knip GmbH & Co. Berlin enjoyed great popularity at its DWA-Competency Course “Inspection for leaks of drainage systems outside of buildings” at the end of January 2009 . About 20 participants listened to the highly interesting and lively lectures by the country-wide acknowledged specialist lecturer Dipl.-Ing. Wilfried Jurthe. As is usual, in a practice-orientated and critical way, the participants were attuned to the existing DIN and DIN-EN Standards, regulations, worksheets and legal regulations during this 5-day course. The practical demonstrations were carried out at a very elaborately designed pipe inspection system, specially created by Dipl.-Ing. Bernd Goldberg, Ingenieurbüro für Umweltschutz & Analytik (amongst others author of the book “Dichtheitsprüfung von Grundstücksentwässerungsanlagen”) and made available as an additional enhancement to the course. Hands-on support was also afforded the firm Knip by Steffen Machka (MesSen Nord GmbH), who introduced the participants to the spectrum of the systems for checking for leaks by means of interesting lectures and simulated checks.Currently the DWA-Competency is the only nationwide course accepted by the Quality Assurance Drainage Construction meeting the requirements for the quality seal “Quality assurance in canal construction RAL GZ 961” and the qualification building drainage (G). The proof of competence is valid for 5 years.
